SIU4, on March 19, 2009 Hi, my name is Jonathan Siador, a brother of Xi Chi Sigma, which is an Asian Interest Fraternity that hosts a charity event every year called "Step It Up," an urban exhibition. My organization is wondering if you guys are interested in participating in this charity event. For the fourth year in a row Xi Chi Sigma will be hosting Step It Up, which groups will participate in an effort to raise money and awareness of the youth crime epidemic that has plagued Stockton for many years. We work with a group called Hope's Angels that has mentored troubled youth into active adults in the real world. This is a cause that we fight so strongly for knowing that Stockton has one of the highest crime rates in the nation. Through this event we hope to raise the awareness as well as make Hope's Angel a more established force in Stockton. We do this with the support of the Hope's Angels, University of the Pacific, City of Stockton, KWIN 97. 7 (local radio station), and Xi Chi Sigma Fraternity. We look to add you guys to our list of performers that have participated in the past Step It Up events which include: Boogie Monstarz, Sickstep, Khaotic Groovemintz, Haluan, Booftroop, Mobility, [Hip]notiQ, Pacific's Rhythm Inc., Ordered Steps Team, Leejay (the beatboxer), Random Abiladeez, and the Diligentz. This year the event will be on April 25th at the Faye Spanos Concert Hall at the University of the Pacific.
